The purpose of the scholarship is to promote the practice of law in Shasta and Trinity Counties by supporting local students who are bound for post-secondary education and who have an interest in improving their communities as legal professionals.  The scholarships will be need, and merit, based and will be open to high school seniors, undergraduates and current law school attendees in amounts up to $1,000.  The scholarships will be administered and awarded by the Legal Studies Committee (“LSC”).  The funding for these scholarships will come from member donations and separate fundraising efforts on behalf of the STCBA and the LSC.

Request for Donations to the STCBA Scholarship Fund

On behalf of both the STCBA and the LSC, we extend an open invitation for scholarship contributions from STCBA members as well as the greater Shasta and Trinity County philanthropic communities. We look forward to the continued administration of this program.
